After discovering last week that the mice in the l

After discovering last week that the mice in the loft have eaten through two pockets of one of the fabric advent calendars that mum made for us when we were little, I decided to draw one as a reminder that they are just little and mousey and didn't really mean it. The calendar munching stings a little as there aren’t many ways that Granny Helen gets to be part of things at Christmas, but the calendar is mendable, with a little skill and care (but how I wish mum was here to help me mend it). I think I'll embroider a wee mouse on to add to the story of the calendar.
These mice are hungry little scamps. That’s two car seats, a mattress, an advent calendar and a baby gym they have eaten through now. Ffs. I’d be so delighted to live in harmony with them if they could just stop scoffing our stuff.

NEW ART PADS I've had some pads of cartridge paper

NEW ART PADS
I've had some pads of cartridge paper made up. I asked whether you'd prefer A3 or A4 and you said both! So, both I have made. There's two different A3 designs (Snowdrops and Under This Old Tree) and one A4 design. (Bullfinches & Hedgerow). They've each got 35 sheets of 120gsm cartridge paper (not super heavy, but a really nice weight for sketching). They are held together with black wiro-binding. I'm going to use the big A3 ones as our annual family scrapbook, and I'm going to take the smaller one out in my backpack on drawing expeditions.

I've got this new Christmas card design finished JUST IN TIME and listed it this afternoon. An owl, a wren and a kingfisher all wearing crowns (cracker crowns or kingly wise men crowns?!). Order this week and you'll still have tonnes of time to write the cards and send them 2nd class. Link in bio.
