Maternity Leave: The Plan

Here’s what to expect from my maternity leave:

I thought it might be helpful to do a little post for anyone browsing my website hoping for an insight on when they might be able to place an order.  Here’s the rough plan (and it is rough!):

Trade Stockists – I’m trying to keep disruption to a minimum for my lovely stockists.  I’m closing the studio entirely from March 18th until April 18th.  This is because the studio is in my home and we’d like a little time in our newborn bubble before there are people around.  After the 18th of April, Jenny and Felicity will be returning to work.  They will process and pack any trade orders that have come in during that time, and handle others as they are submitted.  If you need an up to date catalogue or order form, please email hello@hannahlongmuir.co.uk and we’ll get back to you.  If you’d like to place an order, please use the Excel order form (and fill in all your details as fully as you can) and return it via email to hello@hannahlongmuir.co.uk.  We won’t be accepting any orders over the telephone.

Website & Etsy Shops – the online shops will remain closed until we feel like things are manageable again!  There’s currently no timeline for this as I don’t want to put pressure on myself to be back in operation by a certain date.  It’ll depend on how many trade orders there are, and how I’m coping with being a mum of two (yikes!).  I’ll keep you updated via social media (@hannahlongmuirartist on insta and Facebook) and the newsletter.  Thank you for your patience!

Being self-employed is the best thing ever.  I get to support my little family with my work.  It is wonderful.  Thanks so much for facilitating it, and for understanding that I’m a working mum.  You’re the best.

Lots of love, Hannah x
