This is a 2019 Family Planner Calendar for busy, nature-loving families. Just like the 2019 Wildlife Calendar, it has drawings & handwritten notes about what to look out for in the natural world – the birds and animals and flowers and insects that fill the countryside with fascinating movement. It’s got four columns for four family members, as well as a box for notes or for recording what you’ve spotted in the garden. And, of course, it has the days and dates, all of which have been drawn by hand. The weekends are in a different colour to make it even easier to schedule your week.
There’s a little bonus of a sheet of 12 stickers each one with a different nature drawing. The kids can use the stickers to record the wildlife they spot throughout the year – such as blue tits, hedgehogs, swallows and acorns.
The calendar is wire bound and ready to hang from a nail on the wall.
Size: A3 – 420mm long x 297mm wide.
Designing the calendars is one of my favourite tasks each year. I’m obsessed with tracking the changes of the seasons. I love learning about the countryside and it’s rhythms and understanding why the world around us acts the way it does throughout the year. If you love the changing seasons too, check out my monthly wildlife blog.
Your calendar will come in a protective cellophane & is posted in a carboard envelope.
ABOUT OUR PAPER GOODS
All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in Scotland. The calendar is printed on FSC certified paper stock which means it has been sourced sustainably. The original drawings are done by Hannah in pencil & watercolour. The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. We believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
