This is a limited edition, signed print of my ‘A Hard Frost’ pencil & watercolour drawing. It is a drawing of a lovely beech tree in mid-winter when there has been a very hard frost. It is a still, quiet scene. There are tiny touches of reddish colour on the beech leaves.
The drawing was done down by the river in the village I used to live in. You can read a little about the process of making this drawing in my blog post.
There are just 50 of these larger size prints available.
Size: It is printed on A3 size paper: 297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 in).
This print would look fantastic framed up and would make a lovely addition to your home, or as a special gift for a friend who loves the outdoors.
It will be packaged carefully in a protective envelope to keep it flat for transit.
ABOUT THE PRINTS
The print will be digitally printed on smooth matte archival paper using special pigment inks. The special inks ensure there is no fading over time.
This print is part of a limited edition of 50 prints. This means that once all 50 prints have sold then there won’t be any more printed. The print will be signed in pencil along with the edition number e.g. 7/50.
The art prints are all drawn, scanned, printed & hand assembled in my studio in the Scottish Borders. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The drawings are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. We believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
