Barn Owl Wooden Decoration or Gift Tag

Winter! A time of early dusks and cold nights, of scarcity and survival, pushing the barn owls to hunt earlier in the day.  Seeing a barn owl hunting at twilight, ghostly, pale and silent, is such a thrill.

A season of simply beauty – bring it inside the house with the winter decorations.  This wooden barn owl is a hanging decoration (or gift tag).  A mid-winter drawing to hang in your home, or to add a really special extra touch to your gift wrapping.

This owl decoration hangs from a pale purple string.  It is super lightweight, perfect for posting, popping in a card or as a stocking filler.

The back of the decoration is blank, making it perfect for using as a gift tag, or for writing a message on. My little girl loves owls, so I will be using this decoration as a gift tag for her gifts this Christmas.

About the products

All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK.  The wooden decorations are UV printed on FSC sustainably sourced timber by Lightning Laser, a small business based in Gloucestershire.  They use ultra low VOC UV inks.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
