Be More Danelion – Limited Edition A3 Print

This is a limited edition, signed print of my ‘Be More Dandelion’ drawing. The drawing was inspired by the happy sight of dandelions in April; oodles of them, thriving and resilient, sunny yellow lion-heads flowering. I love the shapes of the leaves of dandelions.  I love that they can grow almost anywhere.  I love their clock-heads and the joy they bring children.  This drawing is about being a bit more dandelion – about being resilient and brave.  There’s a little girl in the drawing (my Trix) as a little ode to the flower fairies I was fascinated by as a child, and also as a wish (blown into the wind) for my own little ones to be resilient and to thrive.

The original drawing was done in pencil, with colour added with watercolour, gouache and coloured pencil.

There are just 100 of this dandelion print available.

Size: It is printed on A3 size paper: 297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 in).

The print will be sent flat in a protective envelope.

ABOUT THE PRINTS

Your print will be made to order here in the studio in the Scottish Borders. It will be digitally printed on lovely smooth 210gsm archival paper. We use special pigment inks to ensure there is no fading over time.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour (and sometimes collage), filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

This print is part of a limited edition of 100 prints.  This means that once all 100 prints have sold then there won’t be any more printed.  The print will be signed in pencil along with the edition number e.g. 7/100.
