A crisp white card featuring a print of a pencil and watercolour drawing of a very busy bird feeder. There are blue tits and great tits merrily feeding away on the feeder. Watching the birds from the sitting room window is one of my favourite things to do in the winter. I love observing the movements and politics and characters on the feeders. I wrote a blog about the great tits who are the kings of our bird feeders.
A busy bird feeder is an essential feature of any British garden. You can read about when and what to feed garden birds on the RSPB website.
This card is blank inside so can be used for thank you notes, letters to friends, or as a birthday card for a bird watcher. It would also make a lovely Christmas card.
It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.
The folded card is A6 size: 160mm x 120mm.
You can also purchase the Bird Feeder design as a print in the shop.
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. I believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
