This is a limited edition, signed print of my ‘Three Potential Blackbirds’ pencil and watercolour drawing. The drawing is of three little blue eggs in a perfectly formed nest. They represent three future blackbirds, three little potential lives. Studying the nest to draw it was awe-inspiring. It is so carefully, complicatedly constructed, but also somewhat haphazard.
There are just 40 of these larger size prints available.
Size: It is printed on A3 size paper: 297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 in). It is portrait in orientation.
It will be packaged carefully in a protective envelope to keep it flat for transit.
ABOUT THE PRINTS
The print will be digitally printed on smooth matte archival paper using special pigment inks. The special inks ensure there is no fading over time.
This print is part of a limited edition of 40 prints. This means that once all 40 prints have sold then there won’t be any more printed. The print will be signed in pencil along with the edition number e.g. 7/40.
The art prints are all drawn, scanned, printed & hand assembled in my studio in the Scottish Borders. The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
