A very simple, very lovely bookmark.
A drawing of a flock of a wintry hedgerow. A misty morning, damp and cold. Big raindrops, grey-scale. One bright bullfinch cheering up the scene.
Size: 55 x 148mm
The Winter Hedgerow bookmark is printed on heavyweight, textured card that resembles watercolour paper – slightly luxurious, and soft to the touch.
I think these bookmarks would be lovely popped inside a Christmas card as a wee gift for a bookworm.
The Winter Hedgerow drawing is also available as a card and a print.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. The bookmarks are printed by print.work, a planet-friendly printing company based in Leeds. The paper used for the bookmarks is an FSC® certified board made up of 65% virgin fibres, 20% recycled material and 15% cotton fibres.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
