The sheets of paper are A5 size: 148mm x 210mm

Now there’s absolutely no excuse not to get writing to loved ones!  The set also makes a lovely gift for anyone who writes letters, from grandchildren to grannies and all in between.  There’s nothing better than getting a handwritten letter in the post.

The set comes in a cellophane packet and will be packaged carefully for posting.  The cellophane is 100% biodegradable.  You can even pop it in the compost bin!

Do you need to send a note but you’ve not got enough time for a whole letter?  There’s a set of mini notelets in the shop!

ABOUT OUR PAPER GOODS

The letter writing sets are printed & hand-assembled in my garden studio in the Scottish Borders.   The original drawings are done by Hannah in pencil & watercolour.  The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside.   We believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them.  Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.

PACKAGING

We are committed to finding environmentally responsible packaging solutions.  Where possible, we use 100% biodegradable cellophane sleeves made from cornstarch.  They are compostable – you can pop them in the compost bin or they will break down quickly in landfill.  In addition, we try to use paper-based packing tapes, and recycled cardboard envelopes and boxes wherever possible.  This is a process we are committed to continuing with in order to reduce our impact on this beautiful planet.
