Happy Birthday (birthday parade) – child’s birthday card

This sweet card is for a child’s birthday.  It features a wee girl, a duck and a black-and-white cat all walking in a line.  The girl is holding a green balloon – perhaps some sort of birthday parade?

It was designed for my little girl’s 2nd birthday, to celebrate her love of ducks (“DUCKSIES!”) and our neighbourhood cat, Oscar.  (Oscar does not love her back)

The words ‘Happy Birthday’ are written on the front and then the card is blank inside for your own message.

This child’s birthday card is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.

Size: The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm

ABOUT THE CARDS

All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
