This gorgeous A5 size eco-notebook has a wrap-around design on the cover. It features my pencil & watercolour drawing of a woman walking her dog down a tree lined countryside lane. It’s a walk I used to do often with Buddy, and it is, in fact, my one and only self-portrait. The walk goes down a country lane from where I used to live toward a village in the Scottish Borders called Hownam. This part, under the trees, is my favourite. I think it is an image that any dog owner can relate to. That moment where it is just you, the dog and the landscape. Bliss.
The wrap-around design is printed on 100% recycled board. There’s something lovely about the blank ink and hints of green on the brown kraft background.
This jotter makes a wonderful sketchbook or notebook. I use them as a diary sketchbook when I go on holiday. It has 32-pages of high quality 190gsm cartridge paper. The pages of the jotter are lovely quality, smooth, off-white paper which I think make a wonderful surface to draw on. The paper can even handle a little bit of watercolour paint.

ABOUT THE PAPER GOODS
All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. The notebooks are made by a company called Southfield Stationers who are just up the road from us. The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
