This gorgeous A5 size eco-sketchbook has a wrap-around design on the cover. It features a pencil drawing of flying barnacle geese, coming in to roost on water for the night. The original drawing was titled ‘Imagine the Honking!’ because it looks like a peaceful scene but those geese would be making a terrible racket! One of my ambitions is to go to the Isle of Jura to see thousands of barnacle geese come in to roost at sun-down in the winter.
The wrap-around design is printed on 100% recycled board. There’s something lovely about the blank ink on the brown kraft background.
This jotter makes a wonderful sketchbook or notebook. I use them as a diary sketchbook when I go on holiday. It has 32-pages of high quality 190gsm cartridge paper. The pages of the jotter are lovely quality, smooth, off-white paper which I think make a wonderful surface to draw on. The paper can even handle a little bit of watercolour paint.
The jotter is A5 size: 148mm x 210mm
You can also purchase the Flying Geese drawing as an art print.
ABOUT THE PAPER GOODS
All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. I believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
