Hedgehog Party Birthday Card

This sweet card features my illustration of a hedgehog’s birthday party. It details the party food and the party games that go on at a hedgehog birthday party.  The activities include ‘snuffling’ and ‘rustling’, and ‘slugs’ and ‘snails’ are amongst the party foods.

This is the perfect card for a nature loving child’s birthday (or a young-at-heart adult!). The words ‘hedgehog party’ are written on the front and then the card is blank inside for your own message.  It could also be used as a party invitation card.  In fact, it was recently used as an invitation for a 70th birthday party, which I thought was lovely.

It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.

Size: The folded card is A6 size – roughly 150mm x 105mm

ABOUT THE CARDS

All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
