The Hedgerow – a page from Nature’s Notebook – Blank Card

This card is the page from a nature lover’s notebook.  It is covered with sketches and notes about the rich diversity of life in the hedgerow.  You’ll find wild flowers, berries and nests; birds and mammals; leaves and insects and butterflies.  Hedges provide essential links between habitats which support a wide variety of wildlife.

The design is printed across the fold. Just fold it over to send it as a standard letter size.

This colourful card is blank inside so it can also be used year round for thank you notes, letters to friends, or birthday cards.

It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice kraft brown envelope.

The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm.

ABOUT THE CARDS

All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
