This extraordinary planet, with it’s myriad of strange and beautiful creatures, is a wonderful place. And sometimes there’s a special person (perhaps it is their birthday?) who you just have to let know that they, too, are extraordinary and wonderful and beautiful and that you are grateful for them. This is a card to give to the person whose very existence adds so much richness to your life, without whom the world would be a little less shiny and bright and sunny.
I designed it for one of my close female friends who was turning 40, but I think it could also be used anytime you need to let a person, big or little, know that they are cherished. There’s a selection of amazing creatures: butterflies, moths, beetles, ladybirds, a grasshopper, a snail. And the words “how wonderful that you exist”.
The card is blank inside for your own message.
It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.

ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
