This is a limited edition, signed print of my ‘I Know A Place’ pencil & watercolour drawing. It features a magical woodland scene filled with silvery white birch trees, tangled branches, and a carpet of bright green wild garlic. I think that there’s nothing greener than the green of wild garlic in springtime, just before it flowers. In amongst the wild garlic stands a beautiful roe deer, gentle and alert.
The drawing is of a favourite woodland walk near the village where we used to live in the Scottish Borders.
There are just 60 of these larger size prints available.
Size: It is printed on A3 size paper: 297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 in). The actual print size is 381 x 280mm (15 x 11 in).
It will be packaged carefully in a protective envelope to keep it flat for transit.
ABOUT THE PRINTS
The print will be digitally printed on smooth matte archival paper using special pigment inks. The special inks ensure there is no fading over time.
This print is part of a limited edition of 60 prints. This means that once all 60 prints have sold then there won’t be any more printed. The print will be signed in pencil along with the edition number e.g. 7/60.
The art prints are all drawn, scanned, printed & hand assembled in my studio in the Scottish Borders. The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
