January!
Gorgeous January things for a January birthday, baby, anniversary or general hello.
The ‘January’ card welcomes the first month of the year with a drawing of a badger against the backdrop of a leafless old oak tree, silhouetted and bare. There’s a crispy, slightly golden fern leaf, and inky prints from other leaves found on the ground – relics of autumn and a reminder that the leaves will return to the trees in spring. The card is blank inside for your own message.
A crisp white card from the ‘Wild Months’ collection. Each month features drawings and hand-written notes about what to look out for in the countryside that month. They are taken from the 2027 Wildlife Calendar.
It is printed on lovely quality, sustainably sourced card, and comes with a nice white envelope.
Size: The folded card is A6 size (150mm x 105mm)
If you like the idea of the monthly wildlife cards, you can also find a complete pack of 12 Wild Months Postcards available in the shop.
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day. Are you planning on sending this card to someone special? Let me know when you leave a review!
