A super sweet white card featuring a lovely pencil & watercolour drawing of a red squirrel with little tufts of hair on his ears. His name is Mr Tufts and he is out looking for acorns. Red squirrels are a conservation species in Scotland. Their numbers have plummeted over the last decades but there is lots of work going on to help them. Let’s all celebrate the beautiful red squirrel!
This sweet little guy would make an ideal birthday card for a nature lover. It is blank inside so it can also be used year round for thank you notes and letters to friends. It would also make a really lovely new baby, baby shower or baptismal card.
It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope. It is packaged in a biodegradable cellophane envelope to keep it safe for posting. If you would like your card, or any other product, to be sent without a protective cellophane then just leave us a note at the check out.
The folded card is A6 size: 160mm x 120mm.
You can find lots of other red squirrel products in our shop, including the Sprightly Squirrels List Pads.
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. I believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day. Are you planning on sending this card to someone special? Let me know when you leave a review!
