October Jay – Blank Card

A warm, autumnal card, featuring the flame-colours of October trees and a jay in flight.  The design combines a quick sketchbook-sketch in the woodland, and a pencil study of a jay (one of my most favourite birds).

The jay card is blank inside so it can be used year round for thank you notes, letters to friends, or it might be nice as a birthday card for an October birthday.

It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.

The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm.

ABOUT THE CARDS

All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK.  They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued.  I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.  Are you planning on sending this card to someone special?  Let me know when you leave a review!
