Otter in Water – Blank Card

A simple white card featuring a pencil drawing of an otter.  This little guy is peeping out above the surface of the water.  I’m fascinated by the watery world of the otter.  They are so graceful and agile underwater.  They have very thick fur in two layers, and when they swim the air which is trapped between the layers comes out as bubbles.  I spend a lot of time staring at the river near our house, but I don’t have much luck spotting otters.  When I do see an otter, it is such a thrill.

This otter card is blank inside so it can also be used year round for thank you notes, letters to friends, or birthday cards.

It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.

The folded card is A6 size: 160mm x 120mm.

ABOUT THE CARDS

All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
