A fine bone china mug featuring my lovely Robin Redbreast drawing.
The design is both on the front and reverse of the mug, with a little robin inside the rim. You’ll find my signature on the base of the mug.
The modern shape of the mug has straight sides and a strap handle – it’s called the Orkney shape. It’s the perfect size for a nice cuppa. The capacity is 0.35l.
These collectable mugs would make a lovely gift for a wildlife enthusiast or bird watcher. They can drink from their robin mug on their tea-break while watching the robin in the garden. You can turn it into a gift by adding a Dunoon gift box to your order. Why not buy the Gardener & The Robin blank card as well?
About Dunoon Mugs
It’s been very exciting to see my drawings appear on such lovely quality ceramics. The mugs have been produced by the well-known mug company Dunoon. Dunoon mugs have a reputation for the highest quality of fine bone china. They are handcrafted in Staffordshire, England. Looking after your mug:
The mugs are fine bone china so require a little extra care.
- although the mugs are dishwasher safe it is best to wash them by hand
- rinse out tea and coffee after use to avoid staining
- try not to pour boiling water directly into the mugs. Either put your milk in first or pour the water over the back of a teaspoon. This avoids cracking as a result of rapid thermal exapansion.
The mugs are designed to last a long time so if you follow these steps you should have many a happy cuppa from your Hannah Longmuir mug!
