Royal Mail Robin – Blank Card for Winter

This is the Royal Mail Robin: a robin red-breast perched on top of a bright-red post box, singing his heart out.   It’s an iconic British winter-time scene.

Robins are most beloved amongst British birds.  You can read my blog post about why we love robins so much here.

This is one of the winter cards. It is designed so that you can use it as a Christmas card, but it is also blank inside so you can use it as a general card throughout the year, too. It is perfect for thank you notes, letters to friends, or birthday cards, or as a gift for a bird watcher or nature lover.

It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.

The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm.

ABOUT THE CARDS

All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.

I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
