A crisp white card from the ‘Wild Months’ collection. Each month features drawings and hand-written notes about what to look out for in the countryside that month. They are taken from the 2018 Wildlife Calendar.
The ‘September’ card features a pencil & watercolour drawing of a beautiful roe deer. She’s gentle yet alert. By September the roe deer gave changed to their paler winter coats. There are also hand written notes about what to look out for in nature this month. I write a monthly blog with more ideas for things to keep an eye out for in the natural world each month, if you’d like to learn more you can find it here.
This card would make a lovely, unusual birthday card. It would also be a thoughtful way to mark an anniversary or a special occasion, or even the birth of a baby. The card is blank inside for your own message.
It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope. It is packaged in a cellophane envelope to keep it safe for posting.
The folded card is A6 size: roughly 160mm x 120mm
There’s also a complete pack of 12 Wild Months Postcards available in the shop. Why not send one a month to someone special?
About our cards
All our cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in Scotland. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. We believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
We love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. We like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day. Are you planning on sending this card to someone special? Let us know when you leave a review!
