Snail Wooden Decoration

Autumn! You stumble upon a fairy ring of toadstools, there’s a dampness underfoot and a crispness in the air. Flame-coloured leaves, rust-coloured foxes. Sunset gets earlier and earlier as we move towards the clocks changing, snails and slugs delight in the dark and the damp. The creatures of the night are busy feasting ahead of the winter.

A season full of treasures – bring the autumn inside the house with this little snail decoration.  These snail wooden decorations are blank on the reverse.  I love to use them as gift tags for autumn birthdays and weddings (but then, I really love snails).

Size: 85mm x 60mm at it’s widest points

The snail hangs from a copper-coloured twine string.  It’s super lightweight, perfect for posting or popping in a card.

About the products

All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK.  The wooden decorations are UV printed on FSC sustainably sourced timber by Lightning Laser, a small business based in Gloucestershire.  They use ultra low VOC UV inks.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
