Snowdrop Wooden Decoration

Winter! It seems as though time has stood still, frozen.  Daylight is limited, the nights are long, spring seems a long way off.  But then, just when we needed them most, little symbols of hope push up through the cold earth and flower with the most beautiful moon-white bells.  Snowdrops!  Carpets of them in woodlands, on verges, in gardens and parks.  Stubborn, resilient, delightful.

Winter is a season of simple beauty – bring it inside the house with the winter decorations.  This wooden snowdrop is a hanging decoration (or gift tag).  A mid-winter drawing to hang in your home, or to add a really special extra touch to your gift wrapping.

This snowdrop decoration hangs from a pale purple string.  It is super lightweight, perfect for posting or popping in a card.

The back of the decoration is blank, making it perfect for using as a gift tag, or for writing a message on. The snowdrop design has less space on the back than the other decorations in the shop, but you could still write a short message.  Let me know if you’d like me to do it for you!

About the products

All our products are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK.  The wooden decorations are UV printed on FSC sustainably sourced timber by Lightning Laser, a small business based in Gloucestershire.  They use ultra low VOC UV inks.

The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
