I designed this card for my little boy’s third birthday. The tiger on the card is Terrible. Terrible is a life-size soft-toy tiger cub that lives in our sitting room. Each year, the birthday cards feature a different one of his toys. You can find the first and second birthday cards in the shop, as well as the fourth and fifth.
It is printed on lovely quality, sustainably sourced card, and comes with a nice brown kraft envelope.
Size: The folded card is A6 size: roughly 150mm x 105mm
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
