This lovely, unusual card features my pencil drawing of the trees silhouetted against a blank sky. These particular trees were drawn at a beautiful cove in the Malborough Sounds in New Zealand when I was lucky enough to visit a few years ago.
The image is printed onto recycled brown kraft card. The design wraps-around both sides of the card. The image is printed across the fold.
There’s something very satisfying about the blank ink on the brown card. As the kraft card is a recycled product there may be slight variations in the colour of the card.
The card is blank inside for your own message.
Size: The folded card is A6 size: 160mm x 120mm. It comes with a nice quality kraft brown envelope. It will be in a biodegradable cellophane to keep it safe for posting. If you would like your card, or any other product, packaged without a cellophane packet please leave a note at the check out.
You can also purchase the Through the Trees design as a gorgeous eco-notebook.
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The designs are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. I believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day. Are you planning on sending this card to someone special? Let me know when you leave a review!
