Let’s meet for a walk soon! This is a card to send to the person you need a good catch up with. Time to make plans, stretch the legs, maybe take a wee flask and some cake and have a good natter. I was inspired to design this card by my friends Jo & Caroline – we’re always saying, oh we need a catch up, let’s meet for a walk, when are you free? We don’t often actually make it happen, but even stating the intention strengthens our bond.
The card features two walkers and an old oak tree, and the words “let’s meet for a walk soon”. It is blank inside for your own message.
It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice white envelope.
Size: The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
