A card that folds out to reveal a woodland packed with springtime wildflowers. Dandelions, bluebells, fresh new foliage, early evening light.
There are two folds on the card so it can fold down to a standard letter size for posting, and then the recipient can sit it on a mantelpiece or a shelf as the full size card.
The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 110mm. The flat card is 150mm x 315mm.
The drawing is printed on a slightly textured, off-white card. The design is printed across the fold. Just fold it over to send it as a standard letter size. This card comes with a recycled brown envelope.
This card is blank inside so you can use it year-round for any occasion, or to write a note to a friend. It would be particularly lovely to send in the spring.
I wrote a blog post about the making of this drawing. You can read it here.
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day. Are you planning on sending this card to someone special? Let me know when you leave a review!

All Hannah’s cards are beautifully drawn and celebrate the natural world, weeds and all. I live in Canada and Hannah’s cards are like nothing else here. Such high quality and intimate, tender images. I’m constantly impressed by her artistry and observation.
