This is a limited edition, signed print of my ‘At the Corner of the Field’ pencil & watercolour drawing. It is a drawing of a frozen winter scene at dusk. There’s a little pink from the sky reflected on the water. The puddles in the muddy tractor tyre tracks are frozen. Across the sky flies a V-formation of geese, heading to water to roost for the night.
The drawing is of the corner of the river in a field near the village we used to live in. Gradually the river has been changing course over the last few years. You can read a little about the process of making this drawing in my blog post.
There are just 50 of these larger size prints available.
Size: It is printed on A3 size paper: 297 x 420 mm (11.7 x 16.5 in). The actual print is 375 x 280mm (14.75 x 11 in).
This print would look fantastic framed up and would make a lovely addition to your home, or as a special gift for a friend who loves the outdoors.
It will be packaged carefully in a protective envelope to keep it flat for transit.
ABOUT THE PRINTS
The print will be digitally printed on smooth matte archival paper using special pigment inks. The special inks ensure there is no fading over time.
This print is part of a limited edition of 50 prints. This means that once all 50 prints have sold then there won’t be any more printed. The print will be signed in pencil along with the edition number e.g. 7/50.
The art prints are all drawn, scanned, printed & hand assembled in my studio in the Scottish Borders. The original drawings are done in pencil & watercolour. The drawings are inspired by the rich variety of the British countryside. We believe it is important that people feel connected with the fields, hedgerows and woodlands around them. Only by loving and enjoying the countryside can we learn to care for it.
