This card is the page from a nature lover’s notebook. It is covered with sketches and notes about winter wildlife – a sort of ‘best-of’ my Christmas drawings all collected together into one sketchbook page. There’s robins, waxwings, bullfinches, red berries, holly, a pine cone, a full moon. And handwritten notes about wildlife at Christmastime.
The design is printed across the fold. Just fold it over to send it as a standard letter size.
It is printed on lovely quality card, and comes with a nice kraft brown recycled envelope.
The folded card is A6 size: 150mm x 105mm.
ABOUT THE CARDS
All the cards are designed, manufactured and packaged by hand in the UK. They are printed on FSC approved card stock which means that it is sourced from sustainable mixed forests.
The original drawings are inspired by the little corner of the world I’m lucky enough to inhabit. I draw in pencil, biro and watercolour, filling my sketchbook with drawings and notes, and working on bigger pencil drawings back in the studio. My work is all about connection: connection with nature, connection with each other.
I love that when someone sends a card they are letting that person know they are valued. I like to imagine posties collecting and delivering the cards, and the journey the cards make by van and air and foot, landing on someone’s front door mat and making that person’s day.
